Lesson 5: Past Simple Tense
The Past Simple Tense describes completed actions that happened in the past. Regular verbs end in -ed, while irregular verbs have special forms. Time words include yesterday, last week, ago, and in 2024.

Example: We visited our grandparents yesterday.
