Lesson 2: Present Continuous Tense
The Present Continuous Tense describes actions happening now or around the present time. It is formed with am, is, or are plus the -ing form of the verb. Time words include now, right now, at the moment, and currently.
Structure:
- Positive: Subject + am/is/are + verb-ing
- Negative: Subject + am/is/are not + verb-ing
- Question: Am/Is/Are + subject + verb-ing?
Example: The children are playing outside now.
